This series of one and two day courses discuss the various pieces of equipment involved in production facilities design and operation and how each performs its function. At the end of each course the students will learn the technical specifications required for the design of each piece of equipment and how to assemble them into a functioning system.

These courses can be taken individually or in combination in any order to fit the student’s needs and schedule. The material covered is based for the most part on two books co-authored by the instructor, Surface Production Operations, Volume 1, Oil and Water Handling Systems, or, Volume 2, Gas Handling Systems.
One copy of the applicable book is included in the registration fee for the two-day courses.

Who should attend: These courses are designed specifically to address the day-to-day needs of the practicing engineers and managers.

About the instructor:
Ken Arnold’s name is synonymous with facilities design and operations. His more than 45 years of experience in this field ranges from basic engineering work to managing very large size projects. He has written two books and taught graduate level courses at University of Houston on these subjects.
